The Sub-Saharan Informer is a Pan African and a continent-wide newspaper produced weekly across several Africa countries expanding to all African countries and the Diaspora. It is an independent newspaper established for the purpose of presenting balanced coverage of all newsworthy events and dissemination of information that promotes social, political and business issues in the region. It owes allegiance to no political party, ethnic community, religious or other interest groups.

The Sub-Saharan Informer has been in print for nine years now and is circulated in multiple African countries and is expanding to each of the African countries at a fast pace. Currently the Sub-Saharan Informer is set to print and circulate in the African Diaspora in such locations as the east coast of the USA and in London, UK.

Since “The Sub-Saharan Informer” founded in 1998/1999, the newspaper has missioned itself to maintain an Africa regional-focused operations. With special coverage designed to uplift and inform the African community at home and abroad, with direct reporting of current affairs, events. The mission of the Sub-Saharan Informer (SSI) is to supply it’s readers with comprehensive African news and information that links the people and businesses of the continent.  This end is achieved through the implementation of e-journalism and e-media framework using state of the art information technology solutions.
