Ethiopian airlines to fly to Kuwait, Riyadh

ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia- Ethiopian Airlines, the national airline for Ethiopia, has said it plans to launch flights to Kuwait and Saudi capital Riyadh from June of this year.
Flights from Ethiopia’s capital Addis Ababa to the Gulf states will made twice a week to provide convenient connections for African passengers, ENA reported on Wednesday.

Ethiopian, one of the largest and fastest-growing airlines in Africa, currently operates 35 flights weekly to six destinations in the Middle East including Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Beirut, Dubai, Jeddah, and Sana’a.
The national carrier of Ethiopia made its maiden flight to Cairo in 1946, and currently serves 50 destinations around the globe, out of which 30 are in Africa.
Ethiopian also said it will be the first airline to operate the Boeing Dreamline-B787 airplane in Africa, the Middle East and Europe, reported ENA.
